What is Bible Quiz?
Bible Quiz is exactly what it sounds like – a quiz!
Clubbers form teams and compete against teams from other area churches over the verses and information in the first four Discoveries/Challenges in their handbook. The quizzing consists of written and multiple choice. Teams receive points for correct answers and are awarded medals, plaques, and ribbons based on total points. Everyone that participates receives a participation pin and/or patch.
Teams are made up of either boys or girls with 1-4 clubbers per team per handbook. (At least two to a team is best.) To participate, you must have completed two (2) Discoveries or Challenges this club year in the book in which you wish to compete in. (Remember, the quiz questions will come from the first four (4) Discoveries/Challenges.) When you sign up, you need to sign up under which book you qualify to quiz from.
Congratulations to all of our Clubbers on their great performance at the 2012 Bible Quiz!
What is Awana Games?
Awana Games is a competition made up of teams from area churches that compete against each other in 10 games played on the Awana game circle. A clubber must have 10 sections passed to qualify. Practices are scheduled outside of regular Club time (usually on Saturdays). If you are interested in participating, you must be able to not only come to practice but also be on time! The Awana Games competition is held in March of each year.
The number of participants on each team is limited. We usually have a boys’ and girls’ team. The maximum number of clubbers that can participate from 5th & 6th grade will depend on how many clubbers want to participate overall (either a maximum of 6 or 9).
The competition will be on
Saturday, March 3
beginning at 3 p.m. in Bellevue
We will meet at 12:50 at the Nebraska Community Blood Bank at 84th & 0 Street to car pool/caravan to Bellevue High School.
