Aaron Householder, Senior Pastor
Christ follower is a defining phrase of Southview. “There are plenty of so-called Christians, but the world needs commited, loving, humble followers of Jesus,” says Aaron. He came to faith in Christ at 17 and was called to serve him as a pastor that same year. Thankful to walk with Jesus daily, Aaron points to his amazing wife, Melanie, and three wonderful kids as evidence of God’s grace. Pastoring is a calling he loves and he has served Southview 6 years. Aaron is a runner, reader, and enjoyer of friends and foods. You can share his “slice of life lessons” on his website.

Shaun Jones, Associate Pastor of Worship & Students
“I want people to not just experience the power of a worship service, but to experience the power of God in their lives,” writes Shaun. In 1999 he followed Christ as his Lord and committed to serve him as a pastor a year later. Since then, Shaun has served as a pastor of worship and students, coming to Southview in 2010. He is encouraged daily by his wife, Kelly, and their two children. Shaun enjoys relaxing in front of a college football game, drinking coffee, and finding ways to involve a Nerf™ gun in daily life.

Mary Duncan, Office Manager
“The best part of this job is the people. They are friends and family to me,” says Mary who has served Southview since 1993. She came to faith in Christ at 12, was baptized in her twenties, and can not imagine being without Jesus through the ups and downs of life. Mary and John have been married for 40 years, raised three children and now are blessed with two grandchildren. They enjoy fishing, and, occasionally, she’ll even out-fish John.
Samantha Nelson, Administative Assistant
Serving our church family for four years, Sam enjoys the people and how different each day can be. She has been a Christ follower 15 years and observes that her relationship with Jesus has changed everything. “I continue to be amazed by how God works,” Sam says. She is married with three children and enjoys reading and family time.
Dawn Witt, Financial Secretary
Dawn has served as our Treasurer since 2001 and Financial Secretary since 2007. She trusted Jesus as her Savior as a seven year old and is grateful for his love and it’s evidences in her life every day, especially through God’s Living Word. She is wife to Brian, busy mom to Gracie, Christian, Matthew, and Faith. Dawn enjoys reading, cooking, baking, and family.
Michael Allen, Custodian
Michael Allen has served as our Custodian for 12 years. Since coming to faith in Christ in 1995 he says Jesus, “has changed everything in my life from outlook, to being with people, to finances. Everything.” Outside of work, Michael enjoys sharing the Good News of Jesus, his wife, JoAnn, their dog, Barney, and Harley Davidson motorcycles.
